Quote of the Week
Anne Lamott once said:
"Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work: you don't give up."
After reading this quote I was moved by the message that even in the bleakest of circumstances we can endure and be our own saviors. It is all too easy to give into feelings of hopelessness and incapability, but more often than not, perseverance and one's own innate strength helps to find the way out of the dark.
