Parenting Tip of the Week
STRICTLY ENFORCE RULES/ROUTINE WITH CONSISTENCY
Children or teens will try to break you down to give in to them. No matter how hard they try time and time again, you have to be stronger and more convicted in your decisions. Any rule you set, you keep. They will begin to respect you when they learn that "what you say is what you mean." Try to avoid "Do as I say, don't do as I do." It causes confusion and resentment. By sticking to the rules you set, you teach your children that they can put faith in your word and feel safe because they will always know what to expect from you.
